Vaude has joined forces with the Plant for Planet initiative, an environmental organization founded in 2007 by the then-9-year-old (sic!) schoolboy Felix Finkbeiner. Vaude invited 57 kids from 19 schools in the region to the company's headquarters near Lake Constance. The idea behind Plant for Planet is to make the youngest members of our society aware of the impact of the climate change. The participating children were trained to be ambassadors to multiply the mission in their respective schools. On an “academy day” at Vaude the participants took classes, developed their own ideas in group settings and planted trees.
