U.S. cooler specialist Yeti and Vertebrae, a 3D and augmented reality (AR) retail solutions company, have unveiled a new immersive 3D and AR experience for online shoppers on Yeti’s U.S. website. Customers can place more than 50 virtual products in their own physical environment and view the products three-dimensionally to get a visual sense of the dimensions, as well as check out the construction, material durability and organization. In a first for the industry, Yeti has added 3D and AR visualizations for its signature hard coolers to the product page, but will soon introduce the technology also to its recently launched bag collection, available exclusively on yeti.com. For an optimal experience on any device, customers can access visualizations directly from the product detail page without having to download a separate app.
