Chris sports, a Swiss distributor for numerous sports, bike and outdoor brands such as Giro, Kari Traa, Keen, Elevenate, Evoc and Mountain Hardwear, is reorganizing the business unit hardgoods/bike in the same way as its softgoods/shoes department – with only one sales manager – due to the departure of Hubert Gmür. Phil Walser, previously head of sales hardgoods & key account manager, takes over the sales management for the hardgoods/bike department. Remo Hasler, who was previously trade marketing & sales support, is now responsible for the key account management of hardgoods and bike products. Hans Zihlmann, manager business unit hardgoods/bike is convinced that “with the new structure with only one sales manager, we are even more efficient and can make better use of synergies.” Gmür decided to take on a new challenge and is leaving Chris sports on Sept. 30 at his own request.
