The German Bundestag has decided to raise the minimum threshold for non-essential retail Click&Meet services for counties or municipalities where 150 out of 100,000 residents are infected with Covid-19. If the incidence is higher for three consecutive days, only Click&Collect is possible. The Federal Council is scheduled to take a position on the bill on Thursday, April 22. Florists and bookstores can remain open; supermarkets can continue to sell clothing and sporting goods. Threatening to file a complaint and to request damages on constitutional grounds, Intersport and other major retailers have already criticized these measures.
