A Spanish importer, Esteller, has announced the takeover of 11 outdoor brands from the portfolio of another Spanish distributor, Altitud Sport, following the latter's shutdown. The 11 brands are Bridgedale, Fritschi, Hagan, Inook, Katadyn, Montana Skins, Nikwax, Optimus, Singing Rock, Stubai and Trek'n Treat. Esteller will start invoicing for them in Spain from next year, adding to the 19 brands that were already in its own portfolio, which includes names like Columbia River, Hydrapak, Leatherman, Mag Lite, Mossy Oak, Nalgene and Night Owl Optics, among others.
