Aclima and Bergans won a major Norwegian design award last month. The Award for Design is given out annually by the Norwegian Center for Design and Architecture (DOGA). The label is a stamp of quality that shows that a product or solution is among the very best in Norwegian design. Bergans was recognized for its lightweight Helium backpack, which weighs in at less than one kilogram for a large backpack. Aclima got the prize for a series of baselayers developed with refinements based on the experiences of a Norwegian adventurer, Lars Monsen.
