Berg Outdoor cooperated with Boa Technology, the maker of the patented Boa Closure System, for its summer 2014 trail-running and hiking shoe collections. The collections were presented for the first time during the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen. Berg Outdoor has been carried by Sportzone, the Portuguese sporting goods retailer controlled by Sonae Group, as its own private outdoor brand in numerous stores in Portugal, until Discovery Sports, another subsidiary of Sonae that manages Berg, started making it available to other retailers in Portugal and Spain in 2012. Since February 2013, Berg's products are also sold in Poland, Ecuador, Panama, Israel and Egypt by means of distribution partnerships, with the first deliveries due in August 2013.
