Bridgedale, the British brand of sport socks, is supporting an incredible expedition with its products: Sir Ranulph Fiennes and his team will try to be the first ones to cross Antarctica on foot during the southern winter. For the nice hike of 3,200 kilometers during six months and under temperatures reaching -90°C, the explorers will rely on Bridgedale's “WoolFusion Summits” socks. With that expedition, Fiennes wants to raise $10 million for Seeing is Believing, an organization that fights for the prevention and treatment of avoidable blindness.
