Chaco is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the U.S. with a specially designed Chaco truck and trailer that will tour the country between May and September. A so-called “Fit for Adventure” tour will take it through seven major music festivals and whitewater events and three football games, engaging more than 20 key retailers across the country in the process. For every pair of Chaco shoes tried on from the truck during the tour, $2.00 will be donated by Wolverine Worldwide, parent company of the brand, to Big City Mountaineers, which organizes wilderness mentoring expeditions for urban youth. According to officials of the company, no special event of this kind is planned for the brand in Europe.
