Craft Sportswear and Spartan have announced a global multi-year partnership, which makes Craft the official performance apparel and footwear of the Spartan Race, the world's largest obstacle race and endurance brand. The agreement will see the two brands developing the first high-performance technical apparel for Obstacle Course Racing (OCR), a fast growing sport. Craft is a Swedish brand specializing in clothing for endurance sports. Its products are currently available in more than 39 countries. In 2018, Spartan will have more than 200 events across more than 30 countries, which will attract around one million participants worldwide. Spartan Race events feature races at three distances, including 3+Mile/20+ Obstacle “Sprint,” 8+ Mile/25+ Obstacle “Super” and 12+ Mile/30+ Obstacle “Beast,” culminating in the Spartan World Championship in North Lake Tahoe, California. The Spartan Race boasts a community of more than five million social media followers, an NBC television series, training and nutrition programs, as well as health and wellness products.
