Craft will launch a “plogging” challenge with selected retailers in Germany throughout October and November to celebrate the release of its new collection of jogging shoes. Plogging, a term which comes from Sweden and translates as collecting trash while jogging, will give consumers gathering at seven retail stores throughout Germany the opportunity to test the shoe and do something positive for the environment. In addition to Craft's in-store campaign, anyone can post pictures of their plogging exploits on social media with the hashtag #CraftPloggingChallenge to win prizes. The plogging phenomenon was developed in 2016 by Sweden's Erik Ahlström, who was annoyed by all the trash on his runs. He led a memorable plogging experience at the European Outdoor Summit in Malmö a year ago.
