Gibbons Slacklines USA is going to host the 2012 World Slackline Federation World Championships being held in Boston on Nov. 10-11. The championships are being held at the Boston Ski & Snowboard Expo, and it is the first time they will take place in the U.S. In the competition, eight professional slackliners battle for the title of world champion. The top eight are determined by their total point count after a year of WSF events. Two athletes are already guaranteed spots: Alex Mason, who is just 15 years old, and Andy Lewis, who performed during the Super Bowl with Madonna. The rest of the competitors will be sorted out at three more competitions before the championships.
