Jack Wolfskin will act as the main sponsor of the IBU World Cup series for the next two years, starting with the 2012-13 winter season, under a contract signed through Infront Sports & Media. Additionally, the German outdoor company will be the top sponsor of the IBU World Championships to be held in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, next year. The brand sees promising opportunities to strengthen its visibility in its core German market and to make inroads into the Scandinavian region and Russia, which are the world's most important cross-country ski markets. Over the past years, Jack Wolfskin has been investing massively in big sports events. For example, it has become the sponsor of the Austro-German Four Hills Tournament of ski jumping, and it acts as advertising partner of various football clubs in the German Bundesliga.
