JD Sports Fashion has launched a new store concept for Blacks, the British chain of 70+ outdoor stores, that includes digital screens and self-service kiosks like some of its new generalist JD Sports stores. The first Blacks unit of the kind opened last month at Aviemore, in the Cairngorms National Park. Twelve more stores will be opened or refitted according to the new design next year, starting with a store on Tottenham Court Road in London and one in Sheffield.
