Mountain Hardwear has designed and launched a fashion and lifestyle-oriented range of six styles of outerwear for men and women for the present autumn/winter season in collaboration with Cole Haan, the street footwear brand sold by Nike to Apax Partners at the beginning of 2013. Called ZeroGravity like Cole Haan's line of light and flexible comfort shoes, it includes technical elements and is accompanied by a backpack. The collection is being offered for the moment by Mountain Hardwear and Cole Haan only in the U.S., focusing on the direct-to-consumer channel. It is also available at Nordstrom department stores. Company officials indicate that it may also be offered at wholesale and overseas in the future.
