Nalgene Outdoor, a U.S. manufacturer of reusable water bottles, announced a significant increase in its commitment to manufacturing with recycled materials. By the end of 2021, Nalgene aims to have all of its reusable water bottle production switched to Tritan Renew material, a resin made from 50 percent recycled material. The company launched this initiative in August 2020 when it leveraged the innovative properties of Tritan Renew material in the introduction of the Nalgene Sustain bottle, the first reusable bottle on the market made from recycled material that is durable, reliable, BPA-free and dishwasher safe. Now, Nalgene is unveiling a broad expansion of the Sustain line, introducing additional sizes and models in a first wave to fully transition production to the Tritan Renew material by the end of 2021. The Sustain line thus grows to 32 product variants.
