Osprey Packs, the U.S. brand of technical backpacks, has released an online program to guide consumers through their search for the right backpack, depending on their intended activity. Called the Packfinder, the program requires potential buyers to answer a few questions on the primary activity the pack will be used for, the length of the intended trip, the required functions and the price range. Packfinder will come up with the most suitable Osprey product, with a report card to explain the selection. The viewer can then move on to the relevant product page, where the selected backpack will be displayed with enhanced product shots and video. Osprey has recently made its website more mobile-friendly and improved its dealer locator to help consumers find the right product at a nearby store or online.
