Snowleader, the French omni-channel retailer based in Annecy, has partnered with a publisher, Nivéales, to produce a magazine on mountaineering. The 52-page magazine will be packed in with all the information of Snowleader's offerings online and be available free of charge at its brick-and-mortar stores. The initiative aims to inspire customers to head for the hills for the next vacation. For the period ended on Aug. 31, Snowleader posted sales of €23 million, up 45 percent from the same period of the previous year, according to sportguide.com. France remains the company's chief market, but exports now account for 35 percent of sales and the ratio is projected to reach 50 percent by the end of August 2020.
