Tecnica has decided to again sponsor the second edition of the Tour des Géants starting and finishing in Courmayeur next Sept. 11-18, in view of its big success. Described as the world's longest endurance ultra-trail race, it will circle the Italian region of Valle d'Aosta over 330 kilometers, with 24,000 meters of total climb. The organizers have limited participation to 500 competitors. Registration began on Jan. 15 and was closed after only four days. This year's participants will come from 22 different countries. About 230 people are on the waiting list.
