W.L. Gore will officially launch a new online platform for customers and retailers at Ispo 2014. The new portal provides information and services related to the Gore-Tex and Windstopper brands in ten different languages. The site will first be launched in English. Other language versions will then follow, including German, French, Spanish and Russian. Using the new business portal at http://portal.gorefabrics.com, Gore's partners will have a digital contact point for their print and online communications, where they can find and download logos, graphics, images, product information or campaign details. A demo shop integrated in the online platform provides users with advice and special elements that make it easy to integrate Gore-Tex and Windstopper products into an existing website or a retailer's web store. These elements, or information modules, are offered in different formats, including pop-up, overlay and iFrame, making it possible to assemble the contents in a variety of ways. The company said that it is already planning to develop the portal further to progressively include other features.
