Adidas will stop working with a distributor for the French market, XXL, for its Five Ten brand as of next Jan. 1. The distribution of the American outdoor brand will be handled by the Terrex team of Adidas' French subsidiary. According to sport-guide.com, the integration process is taking place in other European countries as well, and Five Ten's European website will be hosted on Adidas' home page. On the product side, Five Ten's footwear line, which currently focuses on climbing and mountain biking, will include Adidas Terrex' trail running shoes and be co-branded. In Europe, Five Ten's turnover has doubled to an annual level of €15 million, but it is much lower than Adidas Terrex' sales of more than €100 million.
