Altra Footwear, the U.S. brand of zero-drop running footwear, has teamed up with the Outdoor and Sports Company (OSC) for its distribution in the U.K. and Ireland, starting from the beginning of July. OSC is the British company that sells the Ronhill running apparel brand, among others. Altra was previously distributed in Britain by DJM, a company specializing in the triathlon market. Altra was acquired in 2009 by Icon Health & Fitness, a major supplier of home fitness equipment. It has been making rapid strides in the last two years in the European market, where its activities are supervised by Frank Warnars from the Netherlands.
