As an indication of its penetration of the European market, Tentree has to date planted nearly 30 million trees as part of its goal to plant one billion trees by 2030 through the sale of its products. The Canadian producer of sustainable outdoor apparel has been planting ten trees for every T-shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, jacket, cap or pant sold since it was founded over six years ago. Europeans have added roughly one million trees to the count since Tentree introduced its products in the region earlier this year through a distribution contract with Bradshaw Taylor of the U.K., the previous European distributor of Royal Robbins (Compass Vol. 11 N° 24+25 of Dec. 28, 2018). The B-Corp certified company has online revenues in over 60 countries and products on sale at retailers across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
