BNS Bergal, Nico and Solitaire signed a joint venture with Granger's, the British manufacturer of shoe-care products, in April 2013, for the German-speaking market. The company has now engaged a dedicated sales team for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. Oliver Nobbe has been working as chief executive of Granger's Germany since the beginning of the year. Erik Wolbert, who joined the company in July as key accounts manager, is acting as head of sales. A trainee, Steffen Nieraad, is working with sporting goods and outdoor retailers. She and Wolbert are organizing training courses for independent retailers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Also Kerstin Krämer joined Granger's Germany as sales management assistant in August, taking responsibility for client services and logistics. The company plans to expand its business to other product categories, introducing a new line of outdoor insoles and related shoe-care products during the Ispo Munich trade show in January.
