Canyon Bicycles has announced that it will not ship orders to the U.K. from Dec. 19 until Jan. 11 in connection with Brexit transition and due to the “uncertainty and potential bottlenecks at the border.” The company is currently modifying its processes in order to comply with new legislation as a result of the U.K. leaving the European Union on Dec. 31. This includes changes to its pricing format to include any duties applicable to the products ordered. In the meantime, Canyon will still accept new orders from the mainland U.K.

Things will be a bit different for Northern Ireland though, as the regulations for shipments are different. Canyon must first make additional system changes before proper shipping of bikes to Northern Ireland can be guaranteed. Therefore, no new orders from Northern Ireland will be accepted for the time being.
