Deuter announced that all product distribution for the German backpack brand will be handled in the future by Deuter’s owner Schwan-Stabilo’s new subsidiary, Schwan-Stabilo Outdoor France, which was founded in September 2019. In December 2020, Gregory Allali took over the position of country manager France at Deuter Sport. Allali previously served as the French sales manager for Mountain Hardwear and Mammut.
For the past 25 years, Deuter has been distributed in France exclusively by Loisiralp, a French outdoor and sporting goods retailer based near Lake Geneva that also represents Meindl, Gerber, Rohner and Hey Sport. The transition from Loisiralp to Schwan-Stabilo Outdoor France will take place gradually, with Loisiralp ensuring the processing of orders (including invoicing) until June 30, 2021.
