Grangers, a British company founded in 1937 and specializing in aftercare products for technical clothing and footwear, has made Sea to Summit its exclusive American distributor. The partnership comes as Grangers is experiencing significant growth thanks to previous work with some of the largest retailers in the U.S., such as REI, and brands such as The North Face, Burton Snowboards and Patagonia. Having recently made its Eco 2020 pledge, Grangers will begin making its bottles from ocean waste plastic in June. The North American office and distribution center of Sea to Summit – founded and headquartered in Perth, Australia – is located in Boulder, Colorado. Earlier this year, after two decades, Sea to Summit bought back its North American distribution rights from Shelley and Andrew Dunbar for an undisclosed amount. The transfer of ownership will occur on April 30.
