Klättermusen, the Swedish producer of robust and sustainable mountaineering equipment, announced the strengthening of its global operations with the opening of a German office and the appointment of Patrick Kaulen as head of sales for the DACH region, covering Germany as well as Austria and Switzerland. With more than ten years under his belt working with premium technical brands and more than a decade of outdoor retail experience, Kaulen will be responsible for overseeing Klättermusen's sales, marketing, and customer service. His appointment and the opening of the German office mark the relaunch of Klättermusen in the DACH region after its original owners sold the company to Gonz Ferrero in 2016. The relaunch is accompanied by so-called “Verkstad Pop-Ups” to be set up exclusively at Globetrotter stores around Germany in June. Klättermusen will present its new collection at the chain's stores in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Dresden, Cologne and Düsseldorf. In the “Klättermusen Verkstad,” end consumers will get a deep insight into the development of the products, starting with fabric development and sample creation to testing of the prototypes in the rugged Nordic wilderness.
