Silva, the Swedish compass, headlamp, and outdoor gear brand, is changing its distribution partner in Switzerland. The new distributor, Ace Alpine & Climbing Equipment AG, will take over all distribution rights in Switzerland from Office Factory AG from June 10. Ace, founded in 1998 by mountain guide Richi Bolt, is already representing La Sportiva, Devold, Blue Ice, Pieps, Camp and Gregory in Switzerland. For Office Factory, Gerber will temporarily be the only remaining outdoor brand in the portfolio. The company is primarily specialized in office products and acts as general importer and agent for brands such as Bisley, Citizen, Dahle, Novus and Staedtler in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
