Odex, the European distributor of Aclima headquartered in Denmark, has hired an industry expert, Günter Almberger, for the distribution of this Norwegian brand of wool clothing in Austria. Almberger, an Austrian native living in Southern Germany, is an industry veteran who has worked for Skylotec, Gecko Bergsport, Sport Scheck and the Peter Habeler Alpine School in the past. His agency also manages the brands Prana and Trangoworld. Aclima has continuously expanded its product range in recent years after entering the market for base-layers and mid-layers made of pure merino wool. For the upcoming winter season, the family-owned company has announced the addition of hoodies and joggers made of soft fleece wool as well as anoraks and pants made of Flexwool, a hybrid fabric made from merino wool with integrated stretch and windproof panels.
