Saucony is taking charge of its own distribution on the Iberian Peninsula through a new subsidiary. For the past couple of decades, the Wolverine-owned brand has relied on a company called Deerfoot Sport for its business in Spain, Portugal and Andorra. The new subsidiary will be headed up by Gerónimo Vázquez, who was already in charge of Saucony’s Iberian distribution within Deerfoot. Wolverine is arranging an office with a showroom at its premises in the city of Castelldefels, Barcelona province, which also accommodates Merrell. Wolverine already set up a subsidiary in Italy for Saucony two years ago, taking over the business from its former distributor, Sportlab.
