Thule Group has inaugurated a big new distribution center in Poland to service customers in Central and Eastern Europe as well as Russia and Scandinavia. The new center, which has involved investments of 65 million Swedish kronor (€6.9m-$7.8m) is located at Huta, in western Poland, where the group has operated the largest one of its six assembly plants in Europe for more than 15 years. It is expected to result in greater flexibility and speed of delivery to the clients, and to reduce transportation and environmental costs because of its location next to the factory.
