Italy’s Outdoormag reports that the sixth edition of the Outdoor & Running Business Days in Riva del Garda demonstrated the vitality of the market despite the coronavirus pandemic with over 80 exhibiting brands and more than 200 retailers on Sept. 6 and 7. For the brands, the event was an opportunity to consolidate and build loyalty to their existing stores and also to establish new business relationships. For the retailers, it was an important opportunity to learn about and test the new products for SS21, to meet directly with the companies’ representatives and to place orders in special showrooms or directly at the booths.
The event was held in accordance with the official Covid-19 regulations. In the indoor areas, masks were obligatory for all participants and were distributed free of charge with the welcome package. All rooms and surfaces were regularly disinfected and hand sanitizers were available everywhere. A further measure was the measurement of body temperature by means of a thermoscan with face recognition.
