Instead of the usual gala dinner, the next European Outdoor Summit in Barcelona will organize a more informal “networking evening” in La Fàbrica Moritz on Thursday, Sept. 29. Delegates to the annual convention will be able to eat, drink, mingle and unwind in what the European Outdoor Group describes as “a superb venue for socializing.” It is the historical building, redesigned by Jean Nouvel, that houses the microbrewery for Moritz beer, a famous Catalan brand founded in Barcelona by a French immigrant, Louis Moritz Trautmann, in 1856. It also serves wine and tapas in charming setting full of character and atmosphere.
