Italy’s Industry Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti indicated that trade shows could resume in July after having been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The government has also earmarked about €400 million in grants to support the trade fair industry. However, the funds still have to be approved by parliament. In the meantime, the government plans a significant easing of Covid-19 restrictions from April 26. Italy’s Covid-19 related restrictions vary from region to region.
