Lord Sebastian Coe will kick off the European Outdoor Summit at its next edition on Oct. 13-15 in Sheffield, England. Lord Coe, a prominent British politician and former Olympic track & field champion, led London's successful bid for the 2012 Olympic Games and chaired the organizing committee. As previously reported, Andy Rubin, chairman of Pentland Brands, will act as keynote speaker. Berghaus, which is owned by Pentland, will join Ispo and W.L. Gore & Associates as gold sponsor of the event. Thule, aWorkbook and YKK have signed up as bronze sponsors.
