Messe München, which organizes the Ispo Beijing and Ispo Shanghai fairs in China, has announced the appointment of a new leadership team for its Chinese subsidiary, Messe München Shanghai. Xu Jia, who has been its chief operating officer since 2013, has been promoted to the role of chief executive, replacing Edwin Tan who left the company on July 31 by mutual agreement, due to differing views on future strategic goals. She will run a management board composed also of a new COO, Stephen Lu, and a new chief financial officer, Candance Hua. Lu worked for the company before. Hua is an American who previously worked for a Boston-based technology firm, FIS.
