Terje Malum, head of outdoor purchasing for XXL, the big international sports retail chain, joined Mark Held, general secretary of the European Outdoor Group (EOG) and other experts on the jury for this year's OutDoor Industry Awards. After an intensive two-day panel session, the judges selected 38 new products out of 330 entries. Nine of them were given a Gold Award. The names of the winners will be revealed on the first day of the show, Sunday June 18.
