The 32nd Destinations Nature (“Nature Destinations”) and the 41st Mondial du Tourisme (“World of Tourism”) trade fairs, which jointly took place on March 17-20 in Paris, saw a 61 percent increase in group visitors comprising corporate clubs and associations, and a 37 percent increase in students and teachers as compared to the previous year. The number of trade visitors and journalists, especially those coming from overseas and other parts of France, declined by 13 percent and by 25 percent, respectively. Only 2,168 trade visitors attended the fairs this year. The two fairs, with a total of 715 exhibitors, recorded a total of 130,000 visits over four days.
