The Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) of the U.K. has announced the launch of the Outdoors Future Camp, a new conference for the future leaders of the outdoor industry, in partnership with Ispo Academy. The conference and networking event will take place at The Outdoor City in Sheffield, U.K., on Sept. 5-6. The Camp specifically targets younger outdoor professionals rather than the senior management in the industry, as well as any new prospects planning to develop a career in the outdoor sector. Key topics at the conference will include the “new outdoor” consumer, new media, social media and online strategies, customer services, merchandising, and inspiration in business. Speakers are due to be announced shortly.
