The Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, Utah, will start next January on a Tuesday and end on a Saturday to give retailers an extra day over the weekend to spend in their own stores. Instead of running from Wednesday to Sunday, OR will run from Tuesday, Jan. 22, to Saturday, Jan. 26. It will begin with the All Mountain Demo at the Solitude Mountain Resort on Tuesday before the actual trade show in the Salt Palace Convention Center from Wednesday through Saturday. There will be no conflict with the dates of Ispo Munich, which will start on Sunday, Feb. 3 and end on Wednesday, Feb. 6. On the other hand, the OR Summer Market will stick this year to its Wednesday-Sunday schedule, starting with the Open Air Demo on Aug. 1 at Jordanelle State Park, on the eve of the actual four-day trade fair in the Salt Palace.
