This year's Outdoor Inspiration Awards, presented by Adidas Outdoor, will be co-hosted by Alex Boylan and Burton Roberts from DreamJobbing and reality TV fame. The awards ceremony will take place at the Salt Palace Convention Center on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 at 6 p.m., the second day of Outdoor Retailer Winter Market. The annual Outdoor Inspiration Awards, which have reached their sixth edition this year, celebrate those who inspire and encourage others to participate in and support outdoor activities and the outdoor industry. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Adidas Outdoor, will honor the late Skip Yowell, the co-founder of JanSport. The awards include both general and sponsored category nominations gathered from the Outdoor Retailer community. Categories include Individual, Retailer, Manufacturer, Non-Profit and a Youth category sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America. The annual winners are selected by Adidas Outdoor and Boy Scouts of America with Outdoor Retailer and its panel of industry leaders.
