After Buff had already announced in June in Europe that it would donate two percent of Buff’s worldwide turnover from 2020 to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the U.S. subsidiary of the Spanish brand has now also published the news about the corporate alliance. Buff‘s global donation will support three UNICEF Humanitarian Action for Children projects – one servicing 190 countries; a second in Syria; and a third in Senegal. Rapid action is critical in areas where ongoing conflict is present, like Syria, and where high-density populations exist, like Senegal. In attempting to minimize the spread of Covid-19, UNICEF will be focusing efforts on access to water, providing education on sanitation, and aiding in the supply and distribution of vital supplies and equipment such as face masks. Part of the proceeds will come from sales of the newly launched Buff Filter Mask.
