Keen footwear and its partner Respect The Mountains have announced that this summers' eight events for the Envirotrek Clean Up Series yielded the campaigns' greatest ever returns with 5,120kg of rubbish being collected, almost double that collected during the 2013 campaign. The 2014 series, in its sixth year, visited six countries across Europe, including two U.K. clean-ups hosted for the first time on Snowdonia in North Wales and a return visit to the Lake District in August. The Envirotrek series aims to raise awareness about the fragility of mountain environments while offering tourists and locals an opportunity to enjoy all that nature has to offer while simply cleaning up.
