The British outdoor performance specialist Montane is donating its Black Friday marketing budget of €5,000 to the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) this year to support social sustainability and vital conservation work around the world. At the same time, the brand wants to encourage more and more companies, as well as consumers, to be green. “In synergy with our motto ‘Further. Forever.’, we would like to encourage everyone who is planning to shop in the coming days to shop sustainably and to shop consciously,” said Matthew Hickman, global marketing manager at Montane. EOCA will use the donation to support its conservation projects, including the association’s six recently selected projects to combat plastic pollution in Spain, Italy, Brazil, Colombia and the UK.
