North Sails has collaborated with film director Victor Claramunt on a short film, entitled La Mer, aimed at raising awareness of ocean plastic pollution. The film was first presented at the 10th edition of the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival on July 26-27. It is also among the 50 finalists of the Milano Fashion Film Festival, which will take place on Nov. 7-10, and whose jury is presided by Giorgio Armani. La Mer shows children aged 6 to 11 who are already aware, despite their young age, of the environmental catastrophe that ocean plastic pollution represents to the planet and us all.
