The former Beatle Paul McCartney has joined a new climate change non-profit organization from Australia, Surfers For Climate, by releasing a new video clip of his song ’Wine Dark Open Sea.” The video features Belinda Baggs, surfing champion and co-founder of Surfers For Climate. McCartney is regularly involved in activities against global warming and calls the denial movements ”the most stupid thing ever.” The video premiered on Nov. 5 on Epicentre.tv. To view the video, fans and supporters are asked to donate AUS$5 that will go towards the NGO and supporting partners Surfrider Foundation Australia and Seed Mob.
