The government of the Italian region of Lombardy has returned €10 million donated last March during the first Covid-19 wave by the outdoor brand Moncler to support the construction of a hospital on the site of the former Milan Fair. During the summer, Moncler was informed by the regional government that the construction of the hospital had been financed by other funds. Moncler announced that it would allocate the money to other projects to support the local community as it addresses the ongoing Covid-19 emergency.
