Sympatex Technologies is preparing two information sessions at Ispo Munich about the topical issue of fluorocarbons and their eco-friendly alternatives. A report published by Greenpeace a few weeks ago pointed to the damaging environmental impact of some PFCs, which are used on a small scale in the outdoor industry to make products more water-repellent. Sympatex, which supplies PFC-free membranes, will educate visitors about the issue at its stand, on Feb. 3 and 4 at 3 p.m.
