The non-profit Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) attests that the Oberalp Group, parent company of the Salewa, Dynafit and Wild Country outdoor brands, carefully considers its choice of suppliers and systematically monitors their working conditions. In September, the FWF awarded “Leader” status to the South Tyrolean company. This status is conferred on manufacturers that meet high requirements, ensure transparency in manufacturing and guarantee intensive exchange with their global production facilities. Every year, the Fair Wear Foundation publishes a “brand performance check” after auditing its more than 80 members. The Oberalp group has been a member since 2013. The FWF's objective is to establish social standards in textile production worldwide and to improve working conditions on a sustainable basis, with appropriate pay, reasonable working hours and a safe working environment. Regular audits ensure compliance with the guidelines.
